I don't care who cares or not, and I don't care whether they care if I care or not either, nor whether they care about me caring, so who cares?

Actually, I suppose I do care, but I certainly don't care for trolls, and I'm beginning to wonder about that Echospere dude ...

Errr ... does anyone care about all of this caring, or not, being off topic in this thread?

You seem to getting more and more personal with your posts. I never said, "kids= dogs" I said I love my Moose as much as I love my boys but given the choice of having to save one over the other . . .

    . . . you are being rediculous.

BTW my boys wouldn't think for a second about moving to the Left Coast.

I don't like you talking about my children like that, I don't like you calling Louie and idiot, and if you keep up this crap, you will be going on the bozo list very soon.

Yeah, actually I did have a few too many today. Friends been in the hospital and it doesn't look good. Sorry for being an **** folks.

Doesn't make up for what I wrote, but still, sorry dudes.

    Thanks for being so kind.

That was rude of me to say that about him. I don't know who Lou is but with friends like this I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of the fence with him in person.

Final stages of pancreatic cancer... at least with memorial weekend we'll all be here for him in the final hours.

I've lost many family members and friends to that horrible disease and once diagnosed, it is a death sentance. I now truly understand your mood. I'll pray for your friend at least that he has a easy passing as that is very painful especially in the end stages.

I've had acute pancreatitis twice and the pain was excruciating. P-cancer is supposed to be 100 times worse. I can't imagine any pain being worse than acute pancreatitis. God Bless him.

All cities and counties have "leash" laws on controling your pets. Violation of these laws for the most part states that pets causing damage the owner(s) is liable and this is why the insurance company can collect on a dog causing damage to your property (auto) while being run over. These laws don't apply to childern.

He just passed away very early this morning, even with the drugs he was in so much pain. He was a dear friend and a very kind, kind person.

The say people usually pass away in the twilight hours....

Please just love what is around you all. Your family, friends, neighbors and beloved pets.

Life. Really is too short to argue.

Leash law's don't but if your kid is under 18, parents (owners LOL), are responsible for any damage they cause.

In this dog case, I would still feel the heart ache of "insult to injury" though, responsible or not.

Believe me that in the US if a farm animal gets loose (ie cow, pig, horse, sheep, goat, etc) and someone hits it you will be liable. I'm not sure if that extends to pets vs a production animal.

Not sure how it is up in Iowa, but down here the places you could hit a farm animal are usually considered open range. Even if they have fences up and the speed limit on the road is 70 mph.

Friend of mines bull got loose and some lady hit it. he wasn't liable for the damage to her car, but she also didn't have to pay him any damages.

I always let Moose out of the front door but I have him trained not to go into the street. However, he did give me a scare once when he saw a squirel and went chasing it around the street, since then, before I open the door, I say, NO STREET to him and he obeys. I have him trained to stop dead in his tracks when I sternly yell NO!

Yeah I think that from time to time and I would hate myself if something happened to him.

We are however are at the end of a circle and my neighbors and I do it all the time, there is hardly any traffic here if any but it is food for thought.
