    Like everyone else said, just get 'em done. Worth every penny, and then some. With a full work schedule, and the summer gig season starting, it may be awhile before I can get to IN anyway. I'm going to try to audition a P7 at a local dealer next week, so we'll see.

    dang, that looks good. Nice work! The P7 is a good unit from what I hear. I'm sure you would be happy with it. Are you going to also run a TT with it at all? (I'm just wondering how the phono stage on it sounds).

    Yes, I'll be running my KAB/Technics through it. I've read good reviews on the phono stage, so I'll see how it compares to the Cambridge I'm using now.

    Picked up the P7 yesterday :) I also got a new TV and BR, so it will be a few days before I have it all put together. I just had to celebrate my first anniversary with CP... by spending a bunch of money of course:D Thanks everyone for the advice/suggestions.

    It's going to allow me to bypass my HT pre/pro (AVR) for 2ch music enjoyment. It will let me listen to my 2ch sources thru a dedicated preamp, 2ch power amp, and my mains/subs. The P7 pre and phono stage are vastly superior to those in any AVR. When I want to watch movies, I can bypass the P7 pre, and my AVR will handle the surround decoding. The idea is to try to get the best of both worlds in one room: 2 channel and HT.
