Stopping analog revert

I have the isonic 2. One of the problems i have is digital drops just long enough to revert to analog, but i can re-tune digital hd channels immediately. Is there a way to stop the revert back to analog? Really it would be great if it knew -1 station vs a -2 or -3 station. Plus i could play with the antenna to get better reception.
