A few pics .Even with all 4 subs on there still are DIPS and PEAKS.Wall to Wall is 11'.The room opens to 24'x14' plus a stairway plus openings to 2 more rooms. It's discouraging with all these subwoofers.

Try an additional sub. That may help.

Turned the gain up a little (still running cool) now the bass response is overwelming. I have the bass that is,well like you would expect from subs like these.

That's probably because it appears you've done nothing to treat the room acoustically. Get your learn on about bass traps, and you just might find yourself with 2 extra subs that you can move to another room.

    +1

If you're still not getting even response with four MONSTER subs, then you should probably mess around some more placement and set up..and acoustic treatments for your room. Having them that close together could be creating cancellation and phasing issues.

I've solved most of the problems by just increasing spl.The only dead now spot is room centrer.Because of waf,the subs need to stay where they are.I would also like to try acoustic panels but W A F .

If the nodes caused by the subs are in your primary listening positions and you're unable to move the subs, then you should experiment with using less subwoofers in just one location as more subs don't necessarily mean better bass if they're just canceling each other out.

Agreed, and to go one better, I zoomed in on some of your pics, and it appears you have the subs all set to the same phase setting. Experiment with different settings for these, even though you said by upping the levels there was improvement. With the firepower you have in that room, your neighbors should be issuing death threats.

Multiple subs can be a challenge to get dialed in, but oh so worth it.

How on Earth did you ever sneak four f#&^ off big, subs past her? LOL
If you let her choose the fabric for the acoustic panels, in my experience, you'll get much more leeway and an easier time of it from the WAF standpoint. Get her involved.

Thanks for your input.I read that if all your subwoofers are at the front wall, left and right sides(near the mains)that the phase should be zero.I'm no expert but I tried phase adjustments by ear and couldn't tell any difference. To recap, increasing the gain totally fills the room, in that the nulls now have sound and the peaks, well they are thunderous!I also read that with 4 subs, placement becomes less of an issue. This is my first experience with 4 subwoofers,so I'm learning by reading and appreciate all the input from CLUB POLK!
