polk audio monitor 50 speakers

right speaker has smoke coming from speaker these speakers Floorstanding are approx 15 months old bought new from new egg i also disconnected speaker from my avr denon model 1909 i am only using the left speaker for sound these speakers have a 5 year limited warranty i have very limted knowledge on speaker problems question do i replace the (2) twitters and speaker and cross over since this speaker is under warranty does polk audio send me repacement parts or new speaker? please help thanks for your feedback

thanks for your reply speaker id location is that between the two oval shape twitters? and crossover located in rear lower where wires are connected i see four screws? if i disconnect cross over and speaker what am i looking for? can both crossover and speaker be defective? what about the (2) twitters?

Wow...these monitor 50s seem to have plenty of problems out of box....

monitor 50 where are they located and how do you remove them and what to look for damage?does polk audio replace the monitor 50 stand still speaker or just the damaged parts? thanks for your feedback

Well, I just had a bad tweeter...so they sent me the part. You best bet is to call them up tomorrow and have your serial number(s) ready and then talk to a rep they will tell you exactly what to do and what they want you to do. I think they open up around 9 am EST time?
