SDA CRS as center

I'm setting up a 5.1 HT using SDA CRS as fronts and rears. I have 2 pairs CRS for surrounds, but only one odd CRS that I want to use as the center speaker. How should I wire the center CRS so both drivers and tweeters produce sound? Has anyone tried a single SDA as a center? Will the CRS serve as a good center?

Probably need gidrah or raife to comment on the internal wiring changes. Polk CS my also be able to help.
Is shielding a concern? If yes, you can buy the bucking magnets through Polk CS.

I used a single CRS+ as a center for about a month, then I went to a pair of CRS+s. I used the dual CRS+s for a long time until I replaced them with two LSiC centers. My decision to replace the CRS+s was strictly a cosmetic decision. I just did not like the bulky look of the CRS+s above my television.

When I used a single CRS speaker, I disconnected the SDA driver and wired it in parallel with the stereo driver. You can also wire the drivers in series, but I found that wiring in series made the impedance too high and greatly diminished the sound volume of the speaker.

If I understand your post correctly, you have the earlier version of the CRS with two tweeters. I can email you a crossover schematic if you need one.
