Hi, I recently acquired a pair of the original SDA-CRS with the blade-blade connectors on the sda cable, one is falling apart. Just wandering if anyone knows a source for these.
Thanks

    I don't think Polk has any blade/blade cables to sell. Might find 'em on eBay; and it seems to me that Ben makes cables.

    Wouldn't be hard; worst part would be finding the actual cable ends. If you converted your speaker's SDA connectors to binding posts, all you'd need for the cables is four banana plugs and two lengths of speaker wire; and the materials (solder, heat shrink tubing, etc.) to hold it all together.

    Call Polk they will hook you up with a blade/blade cable. They do not have the pin/blade cable.

    @Tool
    Thanks for the heads-up.
    Here's a related question: does Polk have any of the the RTA-style connectors? The ones that look like thin-pinned 3-pin XLR's. I want to grab a few so that, later, I can build an AI-1 cable for my original SDA-1's.

    You cannot use the AI-1 with your speakers. No way, no how.

    At all? :( That lowers my choices for poweramp upgrades. I guess the McIntosh MC162's and some other older models are still in, but newer MC402's are out.

    Fun. -_- Well, at least I know this now instead of a few months down. I was eying a pair of mono amps but that's not possible then.

    Thanks all, I just need the connector plug. My cable is pulled out, and the plug is falling apart. I will order the plug from Allied that F1 provided the link for.
    Thanks

    Double check the polarity on the cable pins with a VOM. IIRC, on the cable the large pin to large and small to small.
