I need to run some speaker wires from my garage to a gazebo about 30 feet away. The speakers are just a small pair of Yamaha outdoor speakers. I know from reading on here a little that using extension cord or something like that is a no-no, but I need a quick and easy and cheap fix.
So would 12 or 14 ga stranded copper work for a cheap weatherproof wire?
P.S. I just put on my asbestos coat so flame away if you must! LOL:D

I used monoprice 14ga several years ago outside, still sounds great. I treated the ends with deoxit....no problems.Polk Audio Surround Bar 360

run your wire through some PVC. Glue together some PVC and bury it water worries no more.

I used this direct burial speaker wire for my outdoor system.
