outta work again, but thank goodness for the Obama Admin. I will be getting benefits for a year. { mind you I would rather be working} but at least I will not be out on the street. I hope to get a job soon,,,,Desktop Support is my gig.

    Losing your job to no fault of your own sucks bad. I know all about it as I use to work for Tweeter for 10 years and then they went out of business. I planned on retiring there.

    I'm actually rooting around for employment in the Charlotte area as well, and haven't had much success so far. Hopefully the job market there will turn around for both of us!

    Hope it works out for you!! I've been in the unemployment line a few times myself...once after 21+ years with the same company! In the end, it has all worked out for me...but, while it was nice to have a "break" from work I was always concerned about when/where I would be working next. At least the timing is good for you so far as $$ help is concerned...here in PA they just announced a plan as an incentive to employers to hire...employers will be fully subsidized for the 1st 90 days for up to $13/hour on a new hire.

    My experience with interviews is that they don't drag on for hours if they aren't seriously considering you as a candidate.
