That's about 15 minutes from my house!

Probably in Philadelphia...you'd have to travel a bit, maybe 30 or so minutes. There's one near my house, but I've never been. Let me know if you want to take a visit.

David hope you enjoy your stay. One place to check out would be Dan's (Mantis) shop. He's about a half hour ride from Runnemede. Sure others will chime in with good ideas.

You'll be close to George grand's house.

You'll still be 1.5 hours away from me, Don't know anything about that area

No it's not. George is at least 20 minutes away.

Runnemeade is the next town over from me. Phil (pearsall001) as well. amulford is about 10 minutes away in West Deptford and there is acsubie but he's 45+ minutes away. I'm not sure if there is anyone else close except James but he already spoke for himself. Some of the SE PA are close but still at least a 20 minute drive.

There are a couple shops in Cherry Hill but they don't really cater to the stereo guy are are more integrated home solutions anymore. The stereo shops in Philly are all cheap junk with high profit margins. You have to go to the Philly 'burbs to find anything different. To find a decent shop in NJ yopu gotta go north of GG and he lives in Mt. Holly.

    What's in Runnemeade?

and mantis' shop is a half hour trip at best, probably twice that because of traffic.

Yea, timing would be important on a little road trip to Dan's. Left mid afternoon weekday from Audubon (3mi. from Runnemede) was there in half hour no probs.

I have a class at the Sielox/Checkpoint headquarters, just some card access stuff. Looks like the Hotel is right off the trnpk exit 3.

Yeah, it's going to be down a side street past a CVS. There is a Super Wawa on the corner. Unless you're staying at the HoJo then that is literally, at the bottom of the exit ramp.

I think its a Holiday Inn IIRC. Well, at least there seems to be life around those parts..last time I went to Cedar Rapids Iowa the Hotel literally sat in the middle of a corn field.

Card access is a wireless control company correct? control 4 intergrades with them well if it's the same company

Nope, this is NJ. There is something to do somewhere 24 hours a day.

And yes, the Holiday Inn is down 9th Ave off of the Black Horse Pike (Rt 168). It's less than 2 miles from my house.

YOU'RE GOING TO JEHZEE? Really! Just kidding. I lived there a year myself, YOU HAVE TO DRIVE EVERYWHERE!! A lot of the state is like a giant suburb. Enjoy your time.

I hope to get down to Dan's store as well, and if I have time, I'd love to drop by George's and pick up a few things for a good cause. But that won't be till Sept or so!

    Have a great time Knucklehead!

To me 20 minutes with access to a car for transportation is close. Much closer than if I were to drive to George's house, which is around 1.25 hours away.

To you. Not necessarily everybody else. Especially someone who is traveling to the area and may or may not have use of a rental vehicle. You make it seem like George was right around the corner with your nonchalant post and believe me, he isn't. Mt. Holly is 20 minutes away from Runnemeade on a good day and if you have a heavier than normal foot. Google Maps, which is, I find, more along the lines of how others seems to travel, says it's a 40 minute trip.

I said it was close. I did not say it was 5 minutes away or down the street.

If your definition of close is different than mine then too bad for you.

I think you are being argumentative agaisnt me and I don't like it.

    Sal

No, sorry. I just think you have a tremendous lack of social awareness and consideration of other people's situations. In other words, if it doesn't happen in your life, you dismiss it as insignificant.

You said that it was "close by". Then you said it was "close by" according to your definition of the term. You totally neglected to put it in context and realize that Knucklehead is traveling to NJ for business. If "close by" is a 40 minute drive for someone who doesn't know the area then if he made plans according to your definition of "close by", he ends up blowing the better part of 3 hours traveling, visiting and traveling some more. If he doesn't get to get on his way until 7PM, he doesn't get back to his hotel room until 10PM at the earliest. This might be an issue for someone who is in a training class and needs to learn something. Especially if class starts early in the morning. I know I usually like to get to bed early for a training class so that I'm not nodding off the next day when I should be paying attention.

Granted, I don't know Knucklehead's whole deal with his events in NJ. I am merely attempting to illustrate a pretty big point that you missed. You miss these points on a regular basis and then become indignant when someone calls you on them. I called you on this one. I don't care if you don't like it.

I'm in Carney's Point now, not West Deptford. Exit 1 of the NJTP is a little south of me. I am probably 30 minutes from Runnamede.

There isn't much in the area. Cherry Hill and some places in the 'burbs of Philly...

Well, hung out with Knucklehead for a couple hours tonight. He's areal nice guy. Mellow. He wanted to go grab dinner at Applebee's. I was like dude, Applebee's? WTF? Don't you want to go any place local?

So we went to The Jughandle Inn which has been featured on the Food Network on the show "Best Thing I Ever Ate" and from what I've been told might end up on "Diners Drive-Ins and Dives" in the near future as well. Grabbed a couple beers and he got a cheesesteak. Would have tried to stop up at George's if he had more time but, alas, he didn't so I didn't call or anything. They actually gave him homework to do! For a training class! You believe that bullhockey? Anyway, he's nice guy. Feel free to invite him over! He's presentable, unlike lightman.

No, I don't want you wearing my Viking outfit 'cause you'll stretch it out and then it won't fit! The only outfit that fit you was the Betty Boop outfit. I'm sorry that "red isn't your color", "the sequins chaff" and for some reason you can't handle the 6 inch stilettos but it's not my problem that you're a freak! :p
