    Well, I've certainly learned a lot here. Thanks everyone. I've heard terms like SS vs Tube, HT bypass, passive and more. Time to learn more.

    I love my monarchy model 10 preamp.
    If your looking for a DAC a monarchy M22 is a solid choice.IMO It even has a line output
