    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Thanks for the karma and all the congrats from everyone. I just want everyone to know, just to be clear, that I am not just getting into vinyl. In fact, I feel a little guilty by winning. I already have a nice VPI HW-19 turntable and a decent little Technics SL-1300 that I use with my desktop rig when I dub vinyl to FLAC. I was hoping to replace the SL-1300 with a non-automatic table at some point (with either a SL-1200 or similar table). When BlueMD offered this up, I figured what the heck, it would be a nice replacement for my SL-1300. I also stated that I would give away my SL-1300 if I won. I do plan to do this when get the SL-120 setup. SO, sorry that I am not a newbie to vinyl, but I will be passing along some karma when all the dust settles. The SL-1300 is actually a better table for a newbie anyway since it is easy to setup and is more foolproof than a uni-pivot arm like that Mayware. I will also package up some dupe copies of vinyl and make it a real nice package. So, look for my karma giveaway sometime this summer.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...
