Yes we got them in over the past few weeks.

I don't know about this move.

We carry everything up to the Accents.

Soundtrack just went from the Logans to the Kef's. Which is probably why Tweeter picked them up. I can tell you that all of the salesman including the managers are very sorry to see them go. When you set them up in a surround setup with a plasma set you will be highly impressed. Grab some DTS surround disks like Steely Dan or Marvin Gaye and check out how seemless the channel steering is. If I had the cash I would go that route.

    Dan,
I've been seeing ML at Tweeter for the past month or so. Great looking speakers. One of these days I will go there and do a shoot out with SFGP just for the heck of it...
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    jrausch,
I worked with Martin Logan when I worked for Soundex. My problem with Tweeter up here carrying them is the fact we don't have good enough electronics to drive them.We have B&K thats it.B&K is great gear but doesn't sound good driving ML.I perfer to hear ML with Krell or audio research tubes.

    polkatese,
what kind of gear do they sell at your local Tweeter, some of our regins have Krell, most don't only B&K.

Ouch!! Your right. Like the Lsi's they are power hungry and don't reach their full potential even with the best receivers. Perhaps the only thing I can recommend would be finding the right demo material that won't stretch the limits of the B&K. Something slow.

I have a friend at another store that worked with the rep from Kef and he received some killer demo material that made the **** sounding Kef 207's sound like a million bucks because they were overly bright with the Krells. The Rep said he's been collecting this demo material for 15 years and finally came up with a killer disk. When I get my copy and if it sounds that good I'll rip one off if your interested. Personally I carry around all of my demo material in a CD case with a bit of everything that I know works well with different systems. Burn your own material if you have to.

    Dan,
I don't think my local Tweeter carry Krell, but I could be because I am not paying attention closely. I know they re-geared their high-end demo room (you know, the main showcase out of the three that they have) a month ago. That's where I saw ML, but they weren't done at that time.

Krell only lets one dealer in each area, so it could be one of the high end shops around there has it so Tweeter can't. It's that way with the Ultimate Electronics here. Ultimate carries Krell but not at this store because another dealer has it.
