    We have a bunch of Marine in our area and they get quite a bit or respect. I almost went in the Marines but my grandmother got sick and I was really close and could'nt bear the fact of having her die without seeing me...just didn't sit well. Decided to become a state trooper instead. Just completed my first year of college.
    Anyway. Congrats and good luck. Marines will set you up good.
