    Hi DH :)

1:Why the problem? The surrounds being mismatched looks the most odd to me. Is something not sounding correct, or do you have the bug?

2: What is your price range?

3: What are you planning on doing with the current front stage, beings you said, you want to change the Center and Mains? This is real important to what we may recommend. I think you have some very nice, robust mains, and a center that would essentially equal a CSi40. Your stage looks great, its the surrounds that catch me as odd and a sonic mismatch.

Let us know some more about why and what you wish to do. Nice to see you on the board.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I didnt mention my price range.....duh...

    About 1500-2000 total....

As for the mismatch....yeah, thats what peeps always give me hell about but I still love the scripts and they sound GREAT to me....mabye my ears are not as educated as they shoud be :)

I suppose it is best to replace the center along with the fronts to match em ( I had an ML center and it sounded like crap with the polks) I guess I am lookin for some front/center options in my price range and out of my price range (who knows, i may be swayed)

    The Darkhorse,
Martin Logans are an incredible sounding speaker line.Using all Martin Logans will yield the best overall performance.

1)Get rid of the Denon avr4802
2)GEt rid of all the Polks
3)Go check out the new Clarity's.
    4)Go check out the Aeons
    5)Maybe the Accents
6)Cinema center is what you should have,it sounded like crap because the Denon can't drive it to it's fullest potential.
7)If you dig polks more then Martin then I suggest you keep your front 3 and sell the Martins and get into some FX series for rears.
8)Then pick up a pair of Monos for the surroundback like the rti38's.
9)Look into MacIntosh if your planning on going the Martin system route.
10)Have you heard the new Depth sub?????

I'm sure this is a carbon copy of what others have told you, thats why I believe you came out defensive.Homes do what you want with your system by all means it's yours, want advice???This is what I would do.I'm am not a fan of mixing brands of speakers or owning a receiver that won't match up with a given brand of speakers.

Indeed you make some good points but......The Scripts and RT2000p's sound FANTASTIC together (ever tried em?) and the reciever does quite well in driveing em all. I was just thinkin about goin LSI and wanted opinions.....

You can't go wrong with a room full of Lsi speakers, but you will have to bump up your budget.

    The Darkhorse,
No I never mixed ML's with Polk. It's not my style.

If you want to go Lsi,then by all means. They are in my opnion a much better speaker then the rt series are.

If your digging ML and Polk together then why swap it out??Why not upgrade the cables.Try a better power center.Sometimes retweaking a given system can bring back some life you where lookng for or didn't know you where looking for.

You didn't mention what kind of wires or power center your using....Lets talk about that before swapping out anything. With your budget,we can put together a nice wire package.

Well, the wiring is all Z-Series Monster (ihave heard both good and bad bout the Z-stuff). As for power center.....you talkin bout a power conditioner?!?!? I would be disowned by my father if I was duped into buyin a conditioner. My surge protection is a $400 Monster though (cant remember which)

The z stuff isn't bad,it's just not as good as M series. Its at the top of the food chain for Monster Standard.

If you go with the LSI's, the Denon will have a hard time powering them. The Denon receiver is good to 6 ohms, the LSI's are 4 ohm speakers.
