i have rti100's and a cs245i, i wanted to know if it would be necessary to upgrade the center channel to the cs400 so the tweeters would all be the same. how come the csi40 doesn't have the same tweeter as the rti100s? (tri lam dome i think) are there advantages to sticking with the regular tri lams? sorry if im confusing you guys but im a bit confused myself, basically i wanna know if there is any difference between the two tweeters and if it would sound better to have the same tweeter throughout my front sound stage

The 100's have the same tweeter, they are part of the new line up.. as the csi40.. the 400 wouldn't match.. you wouldn't tell much difference but on the front stage you really want it matched speaker wise, power and wire some say.. i say get the 40, it matches, the cs400 is no longer available unless you find one used.. I bought my csi40 used for like 230-240 can't remember.. It was like couple weeks old said the seller.. I love it, so massive so long as you have a TV to fit it.

the Silk dome is MUCH MUCH smoother than the Tri-Lam. IMO ALL DA WAY THOUGH!
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
