I have a pair of rt1000i's and one of them has an annoying hum in the speaker, my guess the powersupply ?
Any ways to fix this ? If I replace the powersupply, any decent priced part I can get ?
If am guessing if I leave the speaker unplugged the subwoofer won't work but the rest should work fine , right?

Disable the Rt1000i built in 6 1/2 inch subs and go with a dedicated "real" sub-woofer. I've done that with my setup. I asked Polk for a quote a while back and it was $150 to fix plus $40 shipping because the amp is heavy. Not worth it.~Dan
