Hey all, I noticed today that my Polk's did not sound right..I thought the speaker setting on my receiver might have been changed, but it was not. I gave the Polk's the "feel" test and found that one was running without the amp. The connections are tight and power is on and LED is lit. Any ideas of what's going on?? Is the amp toast..is there a fuse inside? The warranty is 3 years on the amp and 5 on the speakers, I think?

I did notice awhile ago that there was a rattling coming from the amp area of this speaker, is there a sub in the lower half that could have went poof?

Thanks for any input!!

I can hear the power "click" when the switch is turned on/off, but no sub.

Best bet is to CALL Polk CS and explain your issue. They may be able to offer some advice on narrowing down the problem and if it is still under warranty will get you the stuff you need to get back up and running. Mention you are a member of Club Polk for a discount, their CS is second to none and will have you fixed up in no time. Welcome to Club Polk.
