RM6750 Sub Question

I recently purchased the RM6750 subwoofer. My question is when the sub is in the auto power down mode should the power led go from green to red after 15 min of no input. Mine doesn't even with no audio cables connected and I am not sure if it's powered down. The vendor has switched the amp for me as well as Polk customer service has sent a new amp and they all do the same thing. Maybe the green led is normal even when it's powered down???? Also what is the difference between the PSW10 amp and the RM6750 amp?

Not sure on what the deal is with the light, but as for the sub question the sub that comes with the package (obviously, lol) and the PSW10 is a sub sold by Polk to integrate with any sound system. As for the specs. they both have the same 50W continious and 100W max dynamic power ratings, the PSW10 has a 10" woofer, and the RM6750 sub has an 8" woofer. Will the PSW10 be an "upgrade"? Probably, but not by much. If you want something better, I would look into the PSW505, for a real upgrade. It can be had on Newegg for about $250 shipped, with frequent specials that drop it down to around $230. Link below, and welcome to Club Polk.

I second that. The 505 is a really nice sub and compared to the RM6750, it will blow you away.HOME AUDIO:
