I love the blokes in the first one, especially towards the end when one appears camera left with a fresh pint. The mutley-esq laughter is GREAT, and you can hear 'pint' guy start coughing he's laughing so hard. Awesome.

    The F1 car?

Everything in the front suspension is triangulated. There is a bar that acts as a spring that connects the two together. Under slow cornering, it allows the front wheels to take bumps individually. Under high speed and heavy downforce, it sort of cantilevers against the downforce and equalizes it across the two front wheels. The mount that holds that bar was a prototype mount and it failed. When it failed, that bar I mention unloaded it's tension and the lower control arms broke sending the wheel/hub assembly from both sides flying off in opposite directions.

Why make stupid videos? The first one all they needed to do was hand-push the trailer out. The second one all he needed to do was drive 1 MPH over the wet grass.

There is no way that would have worked on ground that was that wet. Especially with a rear wheel drive car.

The thing to do, would have been to leave it in the building, and put it up on some jack stands to keep the water away from it. Then wait for the water to recede.

If you didn't have any momentum built up, the tires would just sink right down. Which they did anyway, but because they had some momentum, he actually made it a little ways.

That snow towing thing was retarded. It's just not hard to push a car out of a snowbank with three or four people. And tying a tow chain to a plastic bumper.... wow.

It was hooked to the unibody. The bumper would have just ripped off. They yanked the rear bulkhead clean off the car. That zipper sound was all the pinch welds popping.

Why not tow it from the rear in the case of TNR's video. That would have been more practical and not at full speed either. Geesh...............

It happened in Maryland too. A friend of mine from college, his parents lived up the street from the kid. It happened when the he was at work so he didn't get to see it first hand but he did look at the damage. The insurance company said the car was totaled and refused to cover the damage because it was his own stupid fault.

I laughed for days about it when I first saw it.
