I know Panasonic makes some really nice plasmas, but does any have any experience with LGs?

I like the LG plasmas. I think for the money they are really nice. I have not heard or seen any bad things about them. They are not Pioneer ELite quality but nothing is so this is a good choice.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
i have an lg plasma 50 inch and i love it, the picture is much better than any lcd i have ever seen. i have not seen to many plasmas to compare it with but the picture is just as good as any i have seen, the sound from the tv speakers is really good also. i think you would be very happy with it.

A 60" plasma for 2,000 clams is a good deal in any market. Haven't heard any negative press about the LG's, and the ones I have seen all have looked pretty good to me.

My son just bought an LG 47 inch LED with a 240 hz refresh rate and it is awesome. I know the refresh rate isn't as high as the plasma but you should check it out.

I just bought an LG plasma 50" three weeks ago for the bdroom but heres the deal..........
I paid $750 for 50" 1080i with a dynamic contrast of 3,000,000 :1 and its this years 2010 model released on feb purchased from amazon
I have a sanyo plasma that is 50" 1080p with 10,000:1 native contrast and that cost me $1800 a few years back when plasma tv's first came out
When my plasma arrived I put it in my room for a few hours so it got to room temperature before powering on . Delivery trucks can plumet the temp of the plasma resulting in long term damage if powerd on right away
When I saw the picture I couldn't believe my eyes with what I saw on screen . The inherant contrast boost ended up giving me sharper looking picture than my sanyo 1080p . This was very apparent on nature programming like NAT geo and discovery channels
Since I only use my plasma for HDTV I put the big 1080p monster in the bdroom and the flat sleek picture framey LG in living room
