PSW111 Thumping

Options
I have the above sub woofer for probably more than 3 years. I have read of many people who have the same problem. I have power applied with nothing connected to it and I hear this low sounding thump. Is there a way to just replace the amp?

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum. You can take the plate amp off and get a replacement for it or contact Polk and see if it is something they can service for you. That way, you do not have to ship the entire sub back and forth.

    Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. It would be a good idea to determine the exact date of purchase, since the bass amplifier came with a 3 year warranty. The best way to contact Polk CS is via telephone at: 1-800-377-7655 select option 1. Things might be extra busy for them today because of the long weekend, but be patient and they'll be able to help.
