Local church rummage sale, scored two sets of speakers- $10 per set:
Polk Monitor 10A's- just needed a little Windex love- all drivers and tweeters are working. Cabinets are in very good shape and sealed tight. Grill cloth shows a little age and is presentable but I'll probably go ahead and replace the cloth.
Sansui SP-1200's- in working order also and the wood veneer is in great shape. The grill lattice has a few chips but nothing that can't be touched up.

I know next to nothing about Sansui speakers but the old school lattice grills have appealed to me from way back when. To my vintage ears the Polks sound way better. Maybe the Polk's just age better than the Sansui's. As far as the Sansui surrounds go- they're not foam. I'll take wmg's word- they look like cloth. The Sansui's, I'll just try to resell, but the 10A's will stay in the garage system for a while, then eventually passed on- after a recloth and maybe crossover upgrades.
