The Outlaw would do fine. I power a 5ch LSiM surround with one and I have no complaints; sounds great. The XPA will sound different than the Outlaw, maybe “better,” it is a more robust amp after all.…4 · -

I’d recommend moving on from the AVR as your pre-pro before you even think about new speakers. Maybe a dedicated HT preamp like the Outlaw 976. I don’t think think you’re hearing what those LSiMs can…2 · -
