  The tweeter is the nasty SL2000. Someone has applied a shine product such as Armor All to the drivers/PR/tweeter and possibly the cabinet. Walk away!

  Your speaker cables leave a lot to be desired and the way they are connected is a serious mess. Do you have a local audio friend that could help you?
