Okay,
I am buying a pair of RTi10's. I am going to be using it with my HK AVR 130 which is a 5.1 system. I also have a velodyne 10" CHT sub. Should i Power my RTi10's by hooking up two channels into each rti10 or should i set the Harman Kardon to Stereo and use one channel on each speaker. The reason for this question is that the RTi10's are Bi-Wired. So would it be better to hook up 2 channels into each speaker and have nothing hooked up to the center speaker channel, or should i set it up using stereo with one channel going into each speaker. Let me know what you think. Im new to this. I used to have Adcom amps and preamp that was set up to stereo. i dont know much about 5.1 systems. Thanks for any and all advice.

Connect 1 channel to each speaker. The alternate method you are describing is bi-amping, not bi-wiring. The problem with that on a 5.1 receiver is that all channels do not present the same material. Surround channels only present ambient sounds unless you're using 5 channel stereo mode.
I have an HK AVR125 and if you are looking for any kind of volume I would recommend that you upgrade your receiver to one that has preamp outputs.
