Finally took the separates plunge!

With the 30% MS Cashback I've been eying some nice gear on ebay and today I finally attacked. I'm finally going to get a chance to put my HK Signature 2.1 (5 channel amp) to good use as the theater I've been building is coming to completion very soon. Check it out:

    I had one. You will like it. There is no HDMI, but there are work arounds for that. The DVI can be adapted to HDMI with just a cable. The CD up-sampling is good. It has a phono pre. The tuner is a little lacking, but all in all it is a nice unit. I would call it warm like an HK.

    Yeah, the HDMI had me thinking for about an hour but then I figured what the heck. I'm using DVI for my computer and the only thing with HDMI will be the TurboHD I'm going to order. Not like I'm going to be sending the audio to my projector via HDMI! I'm just going to order a $3 adapter from Monoprice and I'll be good.

    congrats on your pre amp. I think you're really going to like it. Outlaw Audio also has excellent customer support. I have read a few stories whereby people from their support team have actually called people back to make sure they got their problem(s) with their equipment solved to their satisfaction. Pretty cool. :)

    You may even want to join the Saloon over there, it's their forum like this one. ;)

    CONGRATS..........saw that ad too but I got PS3 so aint gonna work for me. I need a unit that can decode DTSMA and Dobly TrueHD... (freaking too many new formats....it's killing my wallet.....UPGRADING). Why do people have to re-invent the wheel.
