Joe Slecik Saturday 12:00 to 4:00 on WICN, 90.5, in Worcester MA plays many old jazz LPs. He never records the show, I think.

Thanks I'll tune in on the computer, sounds like a great station...but I will for sure be getting compressed digital.

I used to have a Sherwood S-3000? The tuning tube was just TOO cool. Sounded great too. Of course, unless you buy one refrubed. it may need some work.

This site allows you to find all the FM stations with discriptions within your location.

FM LOVERS SHOULD CHECK IT OUT.

Have you ever listened to WXPN, 88.5 FM, the University of Pennsylvania station? You should be able to receive it no problem in the West Chester, PA area. It's public radio, so very few commercials. It also broadcasts over the internet: www.xpn.org It's a great music station.

    .....

I haven't listened to that station-but like I said i really haven't done much FM listening lately. I'll give them a listen though.

From what I have heard internet radio is so compressed, and lifeless I could not deal with amping it:(

Ben, looks like at least XPN broadcasts in 96Kbs. Try it out see if it works for you SQ wise. Then check out that radio Locator site to see if they have the station(s) you like in higher quality.
