In-Ceiling Speaker Installation Question

I am installing in-ceiling speakers. I have read that it is good to insulate them. My question is what material can I use to insulate them and where can I buy it?

    Are you referring to fill type material such as polyfill/fiberglass insulation, or are you looking to contain the sound from bleeding into upstairs? Also what make/model speakers are you using?

    i used some leftover mineral wool thermal insualtion i had. polyfill is probably cheaper and easier to get hold of.
