Static out of right channel on AVR-340

I just got a new HK AVR-340Z (refurbished) and started using it yesterday. Today i hooked up my speakers and noticed constant static out of the right channel. music and stuff sounds fine but when nothing is playing i hear it. I have swapped speakers, unplugged and plugged everything back in and have determined that it has something to do with the receiver and not the speakers.

Any idea what this could be and how to fix it? Thanks!

    i did a reset on the receiver and now NOTHING comes out of the right channel :mad: time for an RMA!
