I bought a set of Auricle kapton silver interconnects from marvda1 for $55 shipped.
I had never heard silver wires before and i knew i wanted to try em."I also have some coming from a guy on audigon as well as 3interconnects from Ben CAN'T wait to hear em."
Well i must say the silver interconnects are a HUGE improvement over the Phoenix Gold cheap stuff i got from ebay.
I basically turned on a cd i ahd listened to at least 100times then hooked up the left channel from my amp to the HK247 and left the right channel running the Phoenix Gold wire.
I noticed a instant differance but to comfirm what i heard i brought the little lady into the room. She has never heard this cd before and had no idea which speaker was running what.
I asked her to tell me what she heard from each speaker.
Standing directly next to the PG tower she said well that one over there has like 2 times the bass as this one but this ones highs are louder.
So i told her to sit in the middle then go to each speaker side to get a good listen on both.
She did so for about 5 mins and said well this one like i said has a ton more bass.....or do you have the subwoofer behind it?
Of course i said no and i asked her what else.
She then said the one on the left has a much brighter high like the small details almost lost in the background are very much vibrant and not so much on the right side.
Then she asked which one ahd the wire and i yadayadayada.
So basically even as a blind test she heard an enourmous differance in the two and thats just goin from amp to reciever.
My first thoughts WOW the speaker output is almost double the other. The bass is much deeper and louder and the highs seem very detailed compared to the PG side.
I turned it up a bit and before i could handle it at volume -20 with the amp no problems.
The new wire made it so the volume increased enough that at -28 it was louder than before and with great detail.
I'm impressed and ready to try out the other two silver interconnects coming my way.
Just wanted to share and also marvda1 is a great seller. I paid over the weekend and got my wires in 3 business days! I'm very happy!!!

I went with Bens silvers with my LSi's and thought they were a great match. Glad to hear silver works equally well with the RTi's. I really do want your opinion between your new silver wires and bens.

Bens are the only ones I have tried and I really don't have any plans to upgrade them in the near future, but I would like to hear your opinions compared to others made with the same material. (just to see if it is the silver that makes the cables so good or bens magic dust he sprinkles into each jacket before sealing everything up)

Anyway - congrats on the upgrade.

Don't worry once i get my hands on them and get em burned in i'll give a full review on. I'll give first impressions as well but will do a follow up broken in with the 80hours he recommeneds.
Oh and just to be clear my speakers are the RTIa series RTI A5'S to be exact. Just want to make sure you knew it was the new release rti not the orginal rti.

I will warn you that bens cables give you that "something sounds off" feeling for the first 10-20hours or so. Then they just get better and better. (according to Ben they stabilize around 100 hours or so)

So you heard a difference between the left and right speakers, with a stereo recording, and different placement in the room? Amazing.

Nope none whatsoever. I used a 8 track to reproduce the music and placed the drivers all in one cabinet then ran the straw wires into the dirt hole. It was a good time.
