Looking for a crossover to biamp my front with a 7.3 system

Going active with speakers not designed for it is difficult to pull off right- it requires you to bypass the existing passive crossover inside the speaker. I would suggest going psuedo-active. You'll leave the passive crossover in your speaker then have an active crossover cut extreme frequencies.

Lets say the speaker's passive network crosses at 150hz. Put in the active to send 75+hz to the high posts and 300& below to the low posts. Since the crossover is a slope you don't want the active to do its thing right at the passive's point. Filtering out the more extreme freq's will take some strain off the each of your amps in the biamp config and you'll get a little performance increase.

This definitely pays out if you want to use a low power tube amp on the highs, but some gains are lost in the circuits that are in the passive networks.
