Well I need new gear like a hole in the head, but I bought some gear from this guy about a year ago. Anything on this list look like something I should not let slip? To my eyes, the Marantz pre I could use. I heard his custom line array - it was nice, but I am not going to pay $1300 for it. Let me know your thoughts...

That's a pretty broad question and you are going to get different responses from every person. Please ask more pointed questions so that we can specifically help you.

The AV-550 is a good piece and a good way to go 5.1; and I personally would checkout those line arrays. $1300 for a powered pair doesn't seem unreasonable.

I guess I would be most interested in the Marantz and the HK 22 amp. The line array is nice, but they are about 7' tall (my ceilings are 8'). I might call about the turn table for a family member, but I was not sure about the price. The other stuff, I am really not that familiar with.

I was thinking the HK also.
