If you recall, I thought one of my LS 90's blew a driver. Turns out to be the b&k 307 causing the unpleasant sounds. Too late to customer support. Shipping alone's going to cost a fortune. Got to bite the bullet on this one. Can't just drop this one in the trash.

So the purpose of the thread is to say what..........you're sending in the amp to get fixed or you're going to fix the speakers.........or both? or what?comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

Yea, amps going in. Not much I can do in regards to the LS90 however. I'll poke the Polk folks to see if any old drivers are in the back of the warehouse. Otherwise, I just need to find out what bonding agent they use to glue the driver to the metal backing and I'm back in business.

At some point I need to send in my 307 as well..........they have the upgrade that you can do to give it all the processing power of the 507 and will fix everything about your amp............I think the upgrade is something like $495.........comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

The price has gone up. It's now $498. ;^)
Latest update. Packaging up the 307 for upgrade and repair. This will now get me DPL II, DTS ES, and NEO 6. Additionally, a new driver for the LS90 is on the way. All is well in again in freakin hot Texas. -
B&K did an excellent job upgrading my AVR-307. I am very happy with the results and I am sure you will be too. Fortunately I live 25 miles from the facility and could walk it in to them.
