Upgrade? Yes or no.

Now I have a Denon 2805 receiver and two Outlaw M200's (2x200watts) running my Rti 8's. I was wondering if it would be much of an upgrade if I was to power my speakers with a Rotel RMB1075 (5x120watts) and what kind of changes I might notice. Thanks for any comments or advice.

IMO I would stay with the outlaws I have been reserching amps for when I get a set of Lsi's and I have found them to be quite good to power those. You will also be dropping down your wattage so your bass "may" suffer but I am no certain.HT setup

Don't worry about upgrading the amps until you decide to upgrade the speakers, too. Your system is fine as is.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
