But that still doesn't mean Pioneer is "leaving" the plasma business as you mentioned in the other post.

There have been a couple different articles, from Pioneer, that "explain" what they are doing. The first press release was very general, stating that they would buy the panels from Panasonic. The next release, or at least to most dealers, stated that they will still be making most of their own electronics, and basically just sourcing the glass from Panasonic. This is very common among tv manufacturers, and most companies share factories for some parts. That is what I meant by retooling.
