When did Fry's start carrying LSi's?

I saw the LSii models at fry's tonight :)
(City of Industry location)
They weren't hooked up to demo yet, just placed with price tags.

    I'm amazed that they do. I was in a Fry's out there in SoCal last week (can't remember where) and didn't see them. I personally try to NOT buy from Fry's unless I have to. One thing about them that I don't like with regard to speaker purchases is that (for instance with the Polks) if you need service, they make you send it directly to Polk for work. They take "Manufacturer Warranty" VERY literally, however if you purhcase one of their pretty little performance guarantees, then they'll be glad to work on your speakers......:rolleyes:

    In the retail world of Customer Service, Fry's definitely disappoints IMO. I personally liked those stores when they were Incredible Universe. I think that there is a night and day difference between the two companies, even though the merchandise is basically the same.

    If that's the case, it's a major dissapointment! It's not going to help the perceptions of Polk speakers, especially the LSi. If I need a $25 hard drive, I would go to Fry's, for a $1000 speaker? ain't gonna be Fry's! Paul DiComo, say it isn't so?

    Ya know, it's a mixed blessing polkatese. We all want access to the LSi line since it's a limited access speaker apparently, but then they pop in somewhere like Fry's and we're gonna not like it because of the reputation that Fry's apparently has.

    I would definitely like to see the LSi's in a retailer that has a better support chain than the likes of Fry's..........

    I would think places like GG or Tweeter would do more justice for LSi, otherwise expand them to more specialty shops. I can see now, Fry's will pair them with an entry level 30 watts Sony DE series...I can hear the pops and crackles already..

    They're out on display unplugged with price tags.
    I removed the grill and drooled....
    LSi7.9,15,C, etc where all there!

    If there's a retailer that is anal about pricing, Fry's is it. On *SOME* things they're ok, but overall, they believe that their product is laced in gold............

    hmm...selling LSi at MSRP over at Fry's would not yield a lot of interest, simply because it would be one of the most expensive items in the store (next to their RPTV's). Interesting marketing ploy...

    I have bought ALL my polk audio at Frys... at great discount.

    This bodes well if Frys is now carrying LSi...
