Can someone give me some info on a GFA-1 the good the bad
and whatever?
Found one local for a few bucks.

Basement-Audiosource pre/tuner,GFA-545,Onkyo
DX-1400 and RTI10s
Garage-GTP-450,onkyo M-282 and R50s with RTi55
drivers and X-overs.

    Options
    1st generation of amps (GFA-1 and GFA-2) that Adcom put out. Not on the same level of the next generation GFA's (535;545; 555) but certainly worthwhile if not too expensive. They are a different (lesser, IMO) design than the second generation Adcom's. I'd put the early GFA's in the same category as some of the middle of the road Japanese amps of the same time.

    Non common ground bridged dual mono block design. Fan cooled. Unless it was stupidly cheap I would steer clear.
