SACD Playback, DVDA, Blue Ray, and HDdvd. It helps with future proofing.

Only thru HDMI and HDDVD and BlueRay disk or HDCD or HDDVD. There might be more but only thru HDMI cable and HDMI receiver.

Blue Ray, and HDdvd don't process the audio, and send out a 5.1, or 7.1 analog signal?
