I dont know about the rest of you guy and girls. But I would be very interested in seeing pictures of everyones setups. It would be neat to see how others have thier speakers arranged and how thier equipment is setup. I look for pictures all over to give me ideas on how to arrange my speakers that would not only look cooler but make them sound better. I think if we could set up a NEW forum to post pictures of our HT systems it would be cool, after all it takes us time to get what we want. So from the smallest to the most extravagant lets be able to have a forum to post and be proud of our systems.
TV- 52 inch LCD SONY BRAVIA XBR6
TV- 42 inch PLASMA HITACHI ULTRA VISION

SUBWOOFER- VELODYNE DD15
BLU RAY- LG SUPER BLU BH200

Hey does anyone else beside me and bobman1235 think this is a good idea. I know we can post pics. But it would be cool to have one forum just for pictures and setup ideas.

I think bobman was being facetious by linking you to the System Showcase :)

Yeah, I was playing with you; what you're asking for already exists. Click here.

As a Club Polk member you can upload your own set of images as well.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Speaking of, the showcase really needs to be cleaned up. Lot of 'non members' have stuff up there, blank showcases, etc.....

I agree. I never go there or post any pics there. There is just too much to weed through. I would be more interested if you could see only the active members showcases. Honestly I am only interested in seeing someones setup that I know. Not someone that posted 12 times 4 years ago. Does this make sense?

Can there be something done about it?

    Nick

Nick, I'll ask the powers that be if a little (or a lot) of housecleaning can be done.

The problem for me is that you can only post low resolution photos. If I had photo shop I could know the resolution down but my files are too big.

There's about a million free programs to shrink photos that don't involve Photoshop. Chances are whatever software came with your camera will do it for you.

For members wanting to do this it is simple enough to provide a link as part of ones signature ...

Click the HT+ or anything else on that line ...

I could not post my pictures in the show case and it was not a size issue. I forget what the issue was. I tried and just gave up. But I am not a quiter.

I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

HAHA. We tried using that on a few service orders at CompUSA when I was fresh out of highschool. Shockingly enough someone caught on and we switched to pebkac. Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair.

Speaking about non-members, can we delete all users with 2 posts and less?, that are over one year old, I don't think they are coming back!

That's like 3000 people right there.

That's a great idea Laz. We could make that login page useful.
