Which way is the right way?

Hi all,I need to choose between the Onkyo 705 or 805 to fill my room which is 23x14.I don't know if that is considered medium or large room but I do not want to come up short on power.I have RTi 70,CSi 40 and RTi 4's with Velodyne 12" sub.Will be used 80% of the time for movies.Please help me in the right direction,thanks.

I dont know about "right". But I would buy the cheaper of the bunch that has all the options that I believed I would need, and spend the leftover bit of cash on a used two channel amp for my mains.
Granted, either one of the Onkyo's should be able to push your speakers fine. I would still invest a little bit of money into an amp for the fronts.

There was a nice sale on the 805 over at onecall.com, 805 plus external amp, or as Poee said, get one with all the features you need plus external amp.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

What if I went with the 705 and used my HK 520 to power the RTi70's.Would this work?How would I connect this set up or which settings in receiver would apply?Thanks for your help guys!
