I got my XM tuner in today. Is there am extender cable that I can buy? Apparently I have to have it pointed south, and being in an apartment I don't have any windows that face south, so I'm trying to figure something else out.
Is ther ejust a standard extender cable, or do I need a special one for the Polk tuner.

Also, anyone know what the maximum length is? I'm looking at needing possible 100 ft of cable with all the routing I'm gonna do.

Lemme look, I might have just what you are looking for. There is an extension kit, I got it but never used it. It should be around here someplace.

The cable is not proprietary to Polk, just XM. Any XM badged cable will work.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Pok does sell one, however. More expensively than other outlets, though.

Appreciate the info guy. Is there a maximum length before the signal becomes too degraded?

They usually sell in 50' lengths and at some point you'll experience additional signal degradation. I don't know that maximum. It might be listed somewhere on the XM homepage FAQ.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Get the Delphi Signal Repeater.
From my research max length you can run is a 50 ft extension without boosting the signal.
The Delphi repeater isn't that much more than the 50' extension cable.
I wish I could be of more help but I just ordered this same thing yesterday for a bit better signal. (only an east facing window where the stereo is.)
Hope that helps,
