Emotiva rep said they are rolling out the new preprocessors in the next few months, with the new HD format decoders and 1.3 HDMI.

Didn't ask as I'm not in a hurry, I will find out once they come out.

I think I heard it was gonna be around 700-800 bucks, though I don't remember. I"m dying for that Emotiva pre/pro to come out though, especially for the HDMI switching.

Here's the thread about the LMC-2 over at hte Emotiva Lounge.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Currently, under $2K you have three choices. The Integra DTC-9.8, Onkyo Pro PR-SC885, and the NAD T-175.

Looking like June for the Emotiva LMC-2, according to the latest info from Lonnie at Emo.

    I dig that Onkyo DTC-9.8.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

The Onkyo is great looking pre-pro,but it came out a year ago does it decode everything out there.

The one I'm most interested in getting my hands on is Outlaws new Pre/Pro. Speculations are saying sometime around June or July the last I heard but due to having manufacturing problems or something along that line, Motorola had to delay the chips. Can't wait to see what the Outlaws come up with and I'm willing to bet it will be well within your price range you stated above.

It's only been out for 6 months, and yes, it decodes everything.

If it didn't decode something, is it really that big of a deal? Cmon. If Outlaw would get some brains behind the aesthetics of their gear, I might actually think about them at some point.

Not so easy to do when they are basically all rebadged products. They do have excellent CS and I did enjoy their products when I owned them.
