Are there any dvd/cd players that play flac format ? I have searched but can't seem to find any.
Big thanks to "Neskahi" !

I don't think any mainstream standalone CD/DVD player will play flac files.
The only standalone unit I am aware of that decodes flac files is the Slim Devices's SB3. -

Thanks for the fast response.. I couldn't find anything on the SB3, only the squeezebox.
The SB3 is the Squeezebox v3. The current model is the Squeezebox Duet from Logitech. -
Thanks, I figured that out. Took a little while though.:)Big thanks to "Neskahi" !

Flac is great, but don't expect general support for it anytime soon.
Use Software to convert it to a supported format. Or turn it into a standard
audio cd."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -
I have been converting them but, In flac format they sound awesome to me.
Looks like i will be building a dedicated computer or buying the sqeezebox. ThanksBig thanks to "Neskahi" ! -
