I have more pics of the 'innards' I'll post later if anyone is interested but having trouble idenifying these. Might have to pop the top again and see if I can get a mirror in to see if there's any more to identify them at the bottom. This was the best I could do with the macro on my camera. We've (my friend and I) have identified everything but the green ones.

They are electrolytic, apparently polarized. You should try with the mirror to read the value.

value should be on the side someplace. The gold band down the side facing the camera marks the negative terminal side for a polar electrolytic.

Thanks for all the responses ... I was just curious about the brand. Sticking the mirror down inside to look for more info was the plan for the night.
