wich is better, rotel 985 old or new style ?

this amp has 5x100 watts rating at 4 ohms, but there's is 2 version, wich is best ?

there's one with the newer look and the older with the flat front panel

    I was under the impression that the MKII was the better unit, larger transformer and better heatsinks, plus a nicer look. I also think the MKII has removable IEC while the MKI is hardwired.

    I doubt you would be able to notice much of a difference sound quality though.

    P.S. If you are looking at the 985MKII that just popped up on the gon sorry its already mine.
