I have the MCA 30 and really like it. Plenty of clean, neutral power, runs cool, built like a tank and only weighs about 45 lbs. It was a huge improvement over the mid level Yamaha AVR I was using before it. But, I haven't compared it to other Amps. Wonderful combination with the Outlaw 990 and LSI's.

I have the MCA-5 and like it a whole bunch. Has a heluvalotta bottom end and still quite detailed upper end. I have to crank it waayyyyy up to make it tire out. It does get a little edgy at the highest volume levels but nobody listens at those levels anyhow. Very good dynamics and lots of overhead. If you can get it for a good price...go for it.

    Thanks for the response
I would be using it with a HK235 as a pre amp
Does adding this amp make a really big noticable difference.EX:Do you need tocrank it to be able to enjoy,or does it sound good on low volume also.

Don't have that amp but have an amp on my RTi-10s. If that is a high current amp you will notice an improvement every where but it's most noticeable at moderate volume levels. To put it mildly the bass will be a very noticeable improvement.
