Just wondering how many people have pre ordered this or plan on getting it. I'm seriously considering it. To power 2 RTI 12's and a CSI5.

    I have pe-ordered the XPA-2 for my 2 channel system. Can't go wrong with this stuff.

    I have a XPA-5 powering a full LSi setup, 2 - 15s, 1 - C, and 2 - FX. Awesome amp at a great price. The build quality is excellent. 5 year warranty. You can't beat the Emotiva value. :D

    Mike, what were you using previously for amplification? How much of an improvement was the xpa-5? I have the emotiva lpa1 right now, but that new amp with it's extra power certainly looks appealing!

    Of course, that's why the minimum is at least an Anthem Statement P5, two of them bi-amped.

    Seriously though, cantzme78, you might or might not benefit from it. You can only tell once you try.

    It's an interesting amplifier, same power output for a brand new amp for what a used similar amp will run you. Power is only one aspect though, more important in your case would definitely be sound quality as your speakers don't really need more power than your Marantz will give them. The sound of the XPA-5 might or might not be better. I would have most likely given this amp a try later on but I got a great deal on used Sherbourn 5/1500 so I'm done as far as amp upgrades for HT.

    I ordered an XPA-5 on Wednesday evening ($799 + $61 s/h)-It shipped Thursday afternoon. Its expected at my door on Monday (and FedEx tracking reports its sitting in the truck ready to go)

    Heads-up-FedEx requires a signature for this (or anything over $500 apparenty), so I took the day off to be sure.
    I'll dust off a space for it while waiting and perhaps run a new outlet-Something tells me it will require a dedicated 15 amp outlet.

    Of course I won't be able to use it untill I get a pre/pro or reciever (my current one has no pre-outs). :(. Oh and I think I also have to get some interconnects too huh?

    This will be my first foray into the world of separates.
