My SONY KF-50WE610 LCD is over 4yrs old now with the original bulb (XL-2100U). Am I living on borrowed time or do I have a ways to go yet. My viewing would be considered average or even higher. The picture is just as sharp & clear as the day I bought it.
Anybody know the approx. bulb life? Maybe I should just order one to have on hand.

Mine was still going strong after over 5k hours. Replaced it out of pure paranoia.

The replacement lamp is the XL2100. I found two sites that listed a 2,000 hour lamp life, so you are probably overdue.
I saw a couple places around $130-140 so not too bad.
