    I just got off the phone with Lonnie at Emotiva. Nice long conversation on their products. The upgrade for the newer and higher ended equipment at 40% off can't be beat. This applies ONLY to their processors and not amps. I can't go into details as he asked me to keep some of our conversation on the low low. But, I will be ordering one of the new XPA-5's @ $799 and will be adding one of the new XPA-2's @ $799 later. I will be visiting Emotiva in TN next week to sample all the products on hand and get a nice tour of the place. In lieu of purchasing one of their top of the line processors I'll more than likely, but still thinking, be using a lower end unit and wait for the technology to settle a tad before sinking the bucks for the upper end units. I'll still save 40% on the upper end unit as soon as they become available with the newer technology.

    For the folks reading the thread....

    The LPA-1's are back in stock and shipping. A little late from the promised date of 12/31 but they are still available at a discount.

    I got mine today. One day ground shipping surprised the heck out of me. Had a knock on the door and found the amp sitting there. I guess the FedEx guy thought it would be too heavy for anyone to steal. I'll get it hooked up tomorrow and post my initial impressions.
